Sometimes we forget what beautiful colours nature has given us. Luckily, the farmers in the Andes mountains preserved the wide range of colours, shapes and tastes of original potato species. With Perupa® the original tastes and colours of ancient varieties found in the Andes are back on your plate.
In cooperation with four organisations in Peru, HZPC is supporting a group of farmers in the Andes mountains in order to preserve the genetic variation of potato landraces. Feel free to contact us for more information about this project.

Fruit Logistica in Berlin is the worldwide largest trade show for the Food and Agri business. “Perupas have literally been an eye catcher from the product launch onwards” says marketing project manager Annemarie Blitterswijk. “Many restaurant chefs and home cooks around Europe use these ‘new vegetables’ to create colourful plates. These coloured potatoes are a tasty, healthy and creative ingredient for surprising dishes”.
